A calm approach to photographing families


Most families I work with want beautiful photos but worry about things feeling awkward, rushed or stressful, especially with children involved. My sessions are slow, relaxed and gently guided, allowing space for real moments to unfold naturally.

How I work


Family sessions with me are designed to feel more like time together than a traditional photoshoot. I offer light guidance where needed, but the focus is on connection, movement and the in between moments that reflect who you are as a family.


Children are free to be themselves and parents are encouraged to slow down and be present.


I also offer the option of 35mm film, which brings a soft, nostalgic quality and adds depth and texture to the final images.

35mm film add-on


For families wanting an extra layer of depth and nostalgia, 35mm film can be added to any session. Film brings a softness and texture that feels timeless and beautifully imperfect, complementing the digital imagery in a very natural way.


Film is available at $200 per roll and can be added when enquiring or once we connect.

Studio Option

If you’d prefer something simple and stress free, I also offer family sessions in my private home studio. The space is filled with beautiful natural light and styled with a couch, a bed, and the option of a minimal white backdrop.

Located just five minutes from Mullumbimby, it’s an easy option for families who want beautiful imagery without preparing their own home, or for mums who would like everything taken care of.
